    What the ****?!

Why you would do such a thing confuses me greatly... not a bad pic, i mean, the one that isnt yellow

    first time???? scary eh! ;o)

prefer the 1st but being honest that darn traffic light kinda jumped into the shot just as you hit the shutter release (don't worry - they tend to lurk and pop out when you least expect them  ) - for me anyway it certainly makes a muck of what could have been rather nice. Positioning yourself between the pole and westminister would have improved imho. That is unless you were photographing the traffic light.

Your sky also looks somewhat blown out in number 1 - exposure compensation may help here in the future. If you aren't used to your camera's histogram feature then it would be a good idea to find out about it. Particularly for skies and other bright situations, it will give you a good indication of the amount of 'off the scale' white or unrecoverable space that is contained in your image.

for me, the yellow processing doesn't work but heck some will call it artsy and who i am to disagree - it may well suit others and may even sell for a fortune in an art gallery some day.

Anyway well done on taking the step of putting your work up for comment, and good luck with your photography. I hope the above helps.

Have to say they both do nothing for me. The traffic light kills the whole picture no matter if it's red, yellow or green.

I can say, that the yellow one looks good, but I would like to see the Westminster a little more contrasty, almost halftone graphical. That'd be great!
