Pro-tools-leopard compatibility

    does anyone know if digidesign are releasing a patch,or update so pro-tools le will run with leopard os?

    yeah don't go near leopard for a long time if you wanna use protools. digi would really want to get their act together.

    Yes i agree with the 2 posts above. If you have a working mac with no issue then leave it that way. Unless the upgrade is unavoidable!

    well i just bought a new mabook, forgetting to check the compatibility of pro-tools with leopard.D'oh!:mad:

    looks like i'll heading down the xp route for the time being, will this be as stable as running PT on os x?

    just successfully installed LE 7.3.1 on leopard,seems to be working fine.....
    must test it out a bit better tomorrow....

    Hard luck man. The only thing I can think of at the moment if you don't have access to Tiger (besides waiting!) is if you have a Windows XP CD, you could use Bootcamp to run Windows XP on your Mac and run Pro Tools off that. Not ideal (and blasphemy to some Mac heads!) but might be worth looking into.

    Running, and seemingly stable, on Vista as well by the way.

    I didn't realise Bootcamp could run Vista, the beta could only run XP, so that's pretty cool. I won't be upgrading anytime soon though!

    Glad to hear you're up and running Cuddleworthy.

    Sorry, I meant that ProTools LE 7.4 was up and running on Vista in a seemingly stable manner. I don't run a Mac so have no idea about whether Bootcamp can run Vista or not.
