I think if you run the PS3 Connection to and get the following results, you should be fine for all games?

    IP connection: Pass
    Internet Connection: Pass
    ??: Pass
    UPnP: Available
    NAt Type: Type 2

Is that true, and if so, this is how people should concentrate on getting any connectivity issues sorted, without resorting to DMZ?

Yeh - Once you have UPnP available the PS3 can tell your wifi router exactly what configuration it wants so you should be grand for any games

I'm on a Fibre internet >> belkin wireless router>> wired connection, with certain ports forwarded and UPnP enabled and i get the proper run down.
