    Hi all, a quick question.

    I’m currently sharing a house with three others. I got the place through a letting agent, and have been here for 6 months at the end of this month. I never signed a contract, but have been paying direct debit into the owners account on the first of each month. At the start I paid first months rent and a deposit of one months rent. I now want to move out from the 1st Feb. How long do I need to give notice of? I was thinking 2/3 weeks. Should I have any problem getting my deposit back?

    I would say a month is the normal!
