Pottery Classes in Limerick?

    Hey all,

    Just wondering if anyone knows of any courses or evening classes in Pottery in the city or outside that are starting for the Spring season? Thanks in advance!

    coincidence! just got a leaflet in the door with a LOAD of different classes starting up and guess what? Yes ! there is a ceramics/pottery class for improvers/advanced. "This course introduces more advanced hand building techniques throwing and experimental glazing techniques.It is suitable for more advanced students who have completed at least one term in ceramics".
    course fee:115. 20 places 10 weeks. 2 hourse 8-10
    they also have the same course ceramics/pottery for beginners and improvers.
    "a ten week courses suitable for beginners and improvers.Learn the basics of hand building clay modeling and an introduction to glaze techniques all work fired and glazed-materials supplied"

    You will get superb tuition at 'Limerick Ceramic Works' , The Coach House, Franciscan Lane, Henry Street. Limerick. (opposite Falks lighting shop) The ceramic artists and designers that run the classes are extremely good at what they do. They are ex students of Limerick School of Art and Design.

    Classes at Limerick Ceramic Works



    Adult Classes:
    Morning six week course starting Thurs 10th Jan
    Time: 10:00am - 12:00pm
    Evening six week curse starting Tues 15th Jan
    Time: 7:00pm - 9:00pm
    Cost: 180 euro all materials and firings included

    :) Ballymorris Pottery, just out the Ennis Road from Limerick, run regular evening and day pottery classes for adults and pottery events for children. These are fun, informal and informative.
