cheap flight to africa?

    heading to africa in august and was looking for the cheapest flights to cape town from dublin. anyone any recommendations?

    Try doing a bit of legwork - phone agents, check the sticky at the top of this forum for a list of good sites

    try Slatterys Travel, dont actually know their site address but googling em should find em easy enough. They will always be the cheapest option to Cape Town. Direct from Dublin and all. Ive family in SA and theyve all used Slatterys at some stage. Be warned though, you get what you pay for, the entertainment consists of 1 movie for the whole 11/12 hour flight.

    Otherwise you're left doing something like I did, Dublin-London-Joburg-Cape Town.

    You'll generally find cheaper flights to Joburg than to Cape Town. If you do fly to Joburg Id recommend Kulula.com for domestic flights, cheap fares and the staff are friendly, the service is good.
