    Hello

Me and a mate of mine were considering purchasing a playstation 3 from ebay.

Just wondering what you guys think about this. Has anyone had any experience with this.

Not that it matters too much but the 60gig consoles are available on ebay from the UK.

And also there are some 80 gigs available from Hong Kong. Would machines from Hong Kong work here. I hear most games and blu-ray are now multi region but what about connections etc etc.

Sorry if i sound like im rambling...thats because i probably am.

    Cheers in advance

I think you'ld be better off getting one second hand in a shop here! At least you will get a few months warranty with it then....as well as you wont have any difficulties with region locked blu ray movies.

If you get it off EBay you could be in for a tough time if anything goes wrong....even if you return it you are liable to pay shipping charges - and they are heavy!

Ignore the difference between 60gb/80gb..... if you ever need a bigger disk you can just plug in a USB hard disk which are dirt cheap or even just buy a new internal one and slot it in..... hard disks are really very cheap these days and you probably wont need much space on it anyway - the demos are big but they are all very short so you prob wont want to keep them long!

Thanks for the info. Your probably right. You could get lucky but also you could end up having a torrid time if something went wrong.

I might try and check out what deals they have at the moment in the local stores. Second hand might be an option also.
