    Is this an option? I read somewhere that you can get an ethernet version of the ripwave box but it was an old post.

    You can get ethernet ones , would be less hassle anyway.

    The ethernet one is fine. You need it if you want to use WiFi/Router. (ethernet WAN type, what Argos call a cable router).

    I just called sales, turns out they are all Ethernet! I was under the impression they were all USB.

    They used to do both. I've tested and installed both.
    There was a short period of time when a PC was more likely to have USB than ethernet.

    The USB version needs a driver. The ethernet version is plug in and go.
