What do you think of it? I notice sometimes it can be absolutely great, but then others the plot just seems to follow no particular direction and sort of just drifts.

I really like the acting, and I must admit that Carusso is amazing, he may not be everyones cup of tea, but tell me of any charachter who displays so much swagger(?)..thats right..nobody!!!

I personally think the original CSI is awful, but New York(less so) and Miami are very good. New York when there is a good episode really makes a good episode(perhaps its the environment) but Miami in terms of consistency produces good episodes.

Why does everyone like Miami and hate Vegas? Vegas is brilliant with Grissom and I think it has better storylines than Miami and New York. But it is a brilliant series. Grave Danger is probably the best episode and series 7 is quite good with the Miniture Box Killer.

Perhaps they don't drive hoomers in Vegas?

I don't watch Vegas much, but when I do, it seems like they almost attempt to portray a somewhat accurate description about the life of a Crime Scene Investigator. Realism does NOT sell.

Vegas IMO is the best out of the lot, New york is a disaster. THe current minature killer plot in vegas is excellent.

Hhaha(weather). I so badly wanted to be a CSI when I first start watching, then I was informed that real CSI's can't just wear a nice pair of jeans and versace coat while out on the job.

I love Vegas, and New York isn't too bad. It's basically the exact same as Vegas, so it's easy enough to watch. But I hate Miami. Granted, you can have it 100% realistic, but come on, Horatio is the head of the forensics lab, a world class sniper and a bomb disposal expert? That's just silly. Plus, either keep your glasses on or off, it's just annoying when he keeps doing it over and over.

Haven't watched one in a while butthe Vegas one is my favourite. Miami was for a couple of seasons, now it just annoys me. I think Miami and New York are just too unrealistic.

Vegas for me too the original and the best, also as jonny24ie said i like the minature killer plot, keeps a bit of a theme running through it.

Dr Robbins (the coroner) is great this season has some very quirky moments, and Hodges scarcism is always good.

Definitely prefer Vegas, mostly because it’s a lot bigger on doing continuity but the characters are better too. Really enjoying the miniature case at the moment.
NY can be very good at times, prime example is the season 2 episode 'Heroes' when they wrapped Aiden's story and investigated the death of a marine.
Miami is good in its own way, but overally dramatic a lot of the time.

Well maybe on Living or elsewhere but not on RTE, Miami is the version they show the most. They always finish the new series and re-run it while the other 2 are still on a first run. Even the Miami repeats get priority if there's only room for 1 episode.

Speaking of which, now that the Vegas has been kicked (again) due to the return of DH and PB on Tuesday nights any idea when & where it will reappear on the RTE schedules.

I love all of the CSI's. New York has the best crimes, Miami is best for light entertainment (and I love Horatio and his cheesiness) and Vegas has the best consistant storylines.

Vegas! The original and by far the best. I watch New York the odd time and find it's decent. Miami on the other hand I absolutely despise PURELY because of Carruso. I'd love to just snatch the sunglasses off his face, throw them to the ground, stomp on them, stick my tongue out and walk off. He is easily the biggest wanker on telly.

It's the most unrealistic, cheesy show on TV...and I love it!

The origional in Vegas has to be the best..all the die-hard fans love Vegas but all the newbies love Miami! I must say Miami is good for the imagery and Horatio is fantastic in it, but I also like New York...probably just for the crimes, and the fact that it's in New York. I thought before watching it at all, that New York would be the best of the three but it's probablt the worst - it just doesn't have as good characters in it.

It's not accurate at all though...

I love Vegas and Grissom, it has got to be the best of all 3. New York isn't bad but Miami drives me spare.

Can't beat the original.

Vegas is great, New York is good, Miami is awful.
I do like how they break the three shows into different interests - science based (sort of) stories in Vegas, gore in NY, and Horatio in Miami.

I like Vegas and New York, though I'll watch Miami, if only to hear the medical examiner talk to the bodies, which I find kind of funny.

Vegas is the best. I love Grissom. The miniature killer was great.
Miami is good too, but i cringe and find myself blushing at some of Horatios lines. Id say his hair glows in the dark too. Delko has a head like a watermelon.
New York is the weakest of the 3. Macs hair is stitched onto his head, it looks terrible.
