Terrible reception on video in 2nd room-due to thunderstorms?

Hi all, im able to reply as there was terrible thunderstorms here as well s everywhere else & today at 6.30 it went off again & it was calm??

The problem i have is the video in the 2nd room has a black & white pic (on all channels) with a faint TV3 pic sailing from L-R in the background?

The 2nd TV is using a cable from the RF Function to carry the pictures from the main TV & also to use the Sky-tvlink to use the satellite as well.

Does anyone think it was caused by thunderstorms? as i cant check the connections at moment as the main tv is busy.

Will the pic gradually get better if it was that? Or what should i do?

    Thanks

Does anyone know or did i post in the wrong forum?

As i tried to check the main telly, but the brother called with the kids so the cartoons were put on & didnt get time as im only getting back now as i was out.

Will try tomoro, but has anyone any ideas what could have happened as i can check it out proper as i wouldnt have a clue, but only to check if cables are loose.

    Thanks.

If you have a distribution amplifier or tv link amplifier they may have been damaged due to a surge in the electrical system.
