Help In Buying A Panasonic Plasma

I Want To Purchase A Panasonic Plasma And Was Thinking Of Full Hd 1080 50inch.
Problem Is The Difference In Prices. In Dublin I Can Get It In At Least 2 Shops For E2,499 But From Richer Sounds In Belfast It Is £1,599, Which Equates To E2,109. (think Main Problem Is Shops Or Companies Not Passing On To Customers In Ireland The Weaker £ Against The Euro.)
Can Somebody In The Know Please Advise Me If The Belfast One(model No. Th50pz70b) Is The Same As The Rep. Of Ireland Model No.th-50py70, The Only Difference I Presume Being The Tuners.
Does Anyone Know If I Can Get It Any Cheaper In Dublin Or If Anyone That Already Purchased One Recommends Me To Buy The 42in Stead Etc.

I got mine from richer sounds, no problems. Mine had a different letter in the model too, in my case it meant mine was a commercial model, this was a higher spec, intended to be used 24hrs a day like in pubs or hotels, it also meant it had a black trim which was the main difference, i.e. they did not brand it as better. I found out at

try there, they really know their stuff.

The difference between the PZ70B and the PY70 is the tuners. The PY70 has both VHF and UHF tuners. The PZ has no VHF tuner, but DTT (Freeview) tuner instead.

If you are going to be using NTL or Sky the lack of VHF tuner will not be an issue but if you are going to be using an aeriel, you will not get the Irish stations with the PZ70.

Its a cracking TV whichever one you go for.
