    Hey,
I've recently bought iWorks under the impression that it was fully compatible with Work processor, however, I have just read a few reviews claiming that this was not the case and that users had great trouble when sending work created on pages to a windows operated PC.

My problem is I have just spent three hours writing a very important essay for my literature class on pages which I have just sent to my schools e-mail. I'm interested in knowing if any of you have experienced any problems when doing this and if so how am I able to resolve it if a problem does occur.

    Thanks.

    Thanks.
afaik, you select export from file on the toolbar; word is the second option. Then save as a word compatible document.

Yup you have a number of export options from Pages, .doc, .pdf, . rtf and so forth. An exported .doc WILL port to Windows (Microsoft Word), the only thing that may differ is if you used fonts available on the Mac that the Windows system does not have, these will be replaced with something else, and as if often the case between .doc documents, you may notice some formatting differences between your Pages .doc in Pages and when you open it in Word.
