This ticket entitles you to unlimited travel on the Dublin Bus network, inculding the Nitelink service and Airport bus up until 31st December 2008.

I purchased it only four days ago for €780. My circumstances have changed now and ticket is not required. My selling price is €650 or nearest offer. If you're interested please let me know here or via Private message.

    Thanks...

Is this ticket registered to you? Like with a photo?
    Or can anyone use it?

I was wondering that too. Sure most jobs do a deal where it works out tax deductable.

Can't say I object to being alerted of this, personally, but:

You're right GBX. Most people who would have such a ticket would be getting this through their employer to save on tax.
And if they are students then maybe there is a student discount.

It's going to be difficult to sell this ticket OP!

anyone paying PAYE can get these tickets direct can they not? we buy them through salary deduction and pay out of gross salary. Which mean it will cost €780 -26% (if on the lower tax band) or -47% if on the higher tax band.

If it's never been used you can get a full refund from Dublin Bus. If you have used it you can still get a refund but it won't be for the full amount. If you got it through work ask your HR department for the name of their contact in Dublin Bus.

Yes, I had to get photo ID when purchasing the ticket. However I used an annual ticket last year and was never asked to show my ID once and ID's can be purchesed from Dublin Bus for a few euro.

Cheers mate I'll head over there now. I'll get rid of the ticket either way so its no biggy if people aren't interested but the price is negotiable.

Does your photo ID match the ticket, with an code for instance?
So if I got my own ID and bought your ticket, could an inspector tell me they don't match and confiscate it

    Just interested to know

You won't if it's got your ID number on it, they're non-transferable.

Why you selling it? why did you buy it if you were gonna end up selling it?

No they are not linked by a number or anything I had one before and was never asked for the ID either even though i did have it (Edit: forgot to mention i got the ID a few weeks after the ticket and didnt have to show the ID or ticket to get either). Ticket is great for the night link made money back on that alone when i was in college.

OP - Adverts.ie is the place to put this - but make sure it's transferrable and all legit before you go about selling it.

    Closed!
