I'm trying to get information on how to achieve bordfailte accreditation for a holiday home I wish to rent, does anyone have information? the bordfailte.ie site does not have info.

I couldn't find anywhere to put this better than here, feel free to move if anyone knows a better spot.

Might be better in Business Management - but I'll leave it here for the moment. The question is obvious I guess, but did you contact them?

only by email, with no response, I will be calling them but won't get a chance for a while, in the interim if someone has any pointers please pass them on, or even any experience with these guys

I talked to someone in Bord Failte, it turns out that from now on they themselves will not be doing the investigations but a third party (undecided as yet) will coordinate the inspections.
In the meantime they have sent me out a copy of the specifications and grades, looks quit thorough and quite frankly frivolous, focus on items such as dressing tables and the like but most importantly the accomodation must satisfy building regulations and have disabled access.
