What do you think of this pic?? Is there something nice about it or is it just a boring snow pic?? The bit at the bottom was the snow on the bridge, does it add or take from it?

Its a very nice photo. The perspective and angle are great. I'm not sure about the bottom tho. It's a bit distracting but also I like the way the tracks fade out.

    Thanks for sharing!

    Lovely shot indeed.

I too would cut the bottom, don't think it adds anything. Might also look good if cropped portrait instead.

I really like the pic, but I would crop out the bottom

excellent shot, but i'll fourth the cropping of the bottom bit.

PS if you hadnt been feeding Spirit yesterday, I'd never have gotten the lens cleaning shot over your shoulder :)

Edit: yep, looks brill with the crop ;)

Second version is really nice, cool what a bit of cropping can do.

It was a great day Fred! Really miss my 2 horses now, been looking at pics of them all day! That shot was great! I think I was more looking/feeding/being envious rather than concentrating on the task to hand! :D

Lovely photo. Cropped is better. Even gives me that cold feeling. :D

Dink! - both are nice - crop the bottom in the first one like others have suggested. Second is really nice too. To improve you could try clone out that pylon and cable (that is if you have a little time on your hands!). Looks grand though.

    Great pic. :)

My only issue with the second one is that I would have kept the landscape aspect ratio of the first version!
    The crop was needed though.

Much nicer with the crop, go with that one!

Nice snap, I agree with Dades, I would have just cut the bottom off the original and kept the landscape in the reset of the photo. While i like the clarity of the branches in the second one it is ruined by the clarity of the Electrikity lines. I meant to get out and snap a few snowy ones there last week but I had to mind the nipper and it was a bit too cold to drag her out in the snow.:D
