The hubby ruined my sisters 2007 toyota yaris on new years eve, he reversed it into a lake,he managed to get out but the car is a serious mess. Not only is it sopping wet and stinking but both sides of the car got an awful scraping from dumped trolleys etc in the lake. He was really drunk and his excuses were pitiful. He claimed the gear stick broke off in his hand, an excuse which was dispelled as soon as the car was towed out and the gearstick was seen perfectly attached. Hes thinking of geting a new car this year, I don't trust him at all tho

I don't see a divorce forum on Boards, but if there was one, I'd recommend posting there instead...

Edit: Your other post (http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055208626) merely confirms my opinion.

Another Edit: Looking through your posting history, "hubby" seems to be quite the catch.

You looking for advice or just complaining about your husband?

Should this be moved to personal issues?

Wow.. what a story! What was he doing at a lake steamed drunk in your sisters car??

(Is he paying for the damages?)

Sounds like he needs a good thump not a new car.

Or better still, be made share a cell with Buba for a few nights, just for being a complete and utter tool.

Is he getting a new car for himself or for your sister?

He should get one for your sister, what's she going to do for a car now?

Happy new year, that'll cost you €15,990. I hope you reported the drunken scumbag to the guards, its idiots like your husband who tear apart families.

Was your sister in the car at the time?

OP, if the car is all wet, green and slimey after it's dunking in the lake maybe
you should consider keeping it. I believe trolls live under damp, slimey and
smelly bridges which should make the car feel homely ;)

Given that most of the OP's posts that I've come across are her giving out about her "hubby" and she hasn't ditched him then I can only guess that she likes having a "hubby" she can moan about. It seems to be her favourite hobby. In which case, he clearly IS the perfect catch for this woman :)

Gillyfromlyre, why don't you just leave him? I mean apart from the joy you derive from whining about how much of a loser he is, what do you get from this relationship?

what do you get from this relationship?

    Creative writing material?:D

Gillyfromlyre: I am not sure this is a personal issue.
But in reading your other posts there is definitely one there alright.
I am locking the thread and would recommend you go to marriage counselling
