    Hi

Apologies if this specific query has come up before but I didn't notice it.

We live in the south and have poor reception for UK channels - BBC1 & UTV snowy, BBC2 & Ch4 non existant. Rather than have someone look at our aerial etc we are considering Free to Air from UK - we live about a mile from the border and have been assured that there will be no problems with reception etc.

However, I have been advised that there may be compatibility issues with using this UK system in the republic when the republic goes digital for terrestrial TV - anyone any thought on this? What is the likely timeframe for digital in the republic?

    Thanks

More details on what is happening with this on the Terrestrial forum... depending on where you live you might be able to receive the digital test from Dublin and Louth.
