Cheap car service in Dublin?

My car is near 10 years old and I normally get it serviced in the midlands. I keep getting ripped off in Dublin.

Can any of you recommend the likes of Kwik fit or advanced pit stop? Somewhere around Dublin 7 or the north side. I want a basic service and front break pads changed.

Any idea how much this should cost?

    Thanks.

Don't go to Windsor Raheny - they rip you off, and they don't care.
My car broke down 200metres from their garage on the morning it was booked in for a service, and they told me I had to ring a tow truck to come out and help me! Literally a 3 minute walk, and all I needed was a push or jump start!
Then they pulled the old trick of "we'll quote you €680 but give you a discount to €380" which was still €180 above the market rate!!
I got the impression they treat everyone this badly, but my boyfriend said it was probably because I am a woman they thought they could get away with it ... either way, keep well away.

Your replying to a thread dug up by the previous poster from 10 years ago.
