actually given the cursory glance the staff give to the email tickets, if someone wants to pm me a copy of the email i could print that off and use it.

I have been a member of SeeFilmFirst for well over a year now and I have never been offered free tickets to any movies. The only offer I received was to buy tickets for some gala that was taking place in London even though I have Dublin 1 as my postcode

same with me, i've availed of about 4/5 free screenings but have never received directly an email giving me the heads up about them, always find out through here.

pain in the swiss as i've missed out on this one and really wanted to see this film.

surely if it's booked out and you get in you are taking someone else's seats?

    In theory yes,

But lots of people decline to show up.

People take tickets on the offchance that they might go but then don't bother.

every screening i've been to has been half-full at best, apart from atonement which was almost full but that was a sunday times freebie.

The superbad one I went to was completely full,

But that was the Irish premiere!

did anybody notice how many stunt doubles there were in the film? there weren't any stunts!

there were these two guys behind me that were either on drugs or dying

i really liked it too. glad i went!

although my dinner was popcorn and malteasers so the stomach was making funny noises on the way home.

Film was just ok, very twee but with the occasional laugh. Was unfortunate to be surrounded on each side by:

On the Left) A couple who throught it necessary to tell each other what was happening on screen, all the time. and couldn't manage to laugh without rocking back and forth thereby sending shudders through the whole row of seats.

On the Right) A couple who found *every* aspect of the film hilarious, which is fine. Except when her laugh is louder than everyone else in the cinema / postal disctrict, and he, possibly feeling the need to 'out-laugh' her, creates this weird open-mouthed horn blast that led me to have plenty of those Saving-Private- Ryan, standing-too-close-to-a-grenade moments where everything goes quiet except for a high pitched whine.

I normally never care about people being noisey near me but this was so bad it was almost funnier than the film.

Yes! So either it was you, or more likely you were suffering as well?

Well at least it wasn't just me being overly sensitive then, which is good to know. How can you politely tell someone that both he and his girlfriend should perhaps laugh less as it's hurting my brain. Granted the film was free but the doctor's visit wasn't and the councelling won't be.
