Just got this new 42" LG 1080p and its working great. However, I was trying to hook up my 360 with the VGA cable. Picture came out great but there was no sound. Tried all of the different audio connections and no joy. Anyone else had this problem? I can get it working with component but the VGA cable gives a much better quality picture, so would love to get it working with that. (oh, the VGA cable works grand on another TV in the house, so I dont think the cable is the issue)

VGA cable does not support audio, only video signal. You need to use a separate RCA cables for the audio goin to your TV. On the VGA lead there should have been a red & white audio cables, look for a audio input associated with the VGA input as you will have to connect the sound connectors to it.
