    Hi all,
I'm hoping this is the right place to ask this, if not, mods, please move as you see fit. Does anyone know if there's a local bus service from Newbridge train station or near by, that services the Wyeth and OralB campuses just outside the town? Or would i be better getting a pair of walking shoes? I'm headed that way on a temporary contract for the next 3 weeks, and have no desire to head through the Mad cow twice a day so was going to leave the car at home and go via trains etc??

No local buses unfortunately from the train station.

It's not that long a walk really, max 20 mins I'd say. Easily do-able. Same or less for going to Oral B (but use shortcuts through some housing estates and then up the Green Road).

Are you sure? I'm nearly sure there's a local link bus stop just up the road from the train station.

There's sod all information on the internet about this, but there is a license for a local bus service in Newbridge, and it's apparently held by Kenneally Bus. An article from 1999 seems to indicate that it serves Wyeth.

Kenneally is a trading name for JJ Kavanagh/Rapid Express who run town services in Naas and Carlow as well as inter-urban routes.

There is no mention of Newbridge town routes on their website so presumably they have been dropped but it is probably worth contacting them as the info on there is not great.

There is no bus from the train station to Wyeth. I know someone who gets the train and it takes her 25 minutes at a good trot to get from A to B.
