Recycling CDs

In my current work, I get a lot of CDs, which I add to my vast and hated plastic waste.

Is there any specific way of recycling them?

I know people recommend using them for bird-scarers in the garden, but 100 a month is too many unless I want to live in an art installation.

Our local recycling centre takes them. No idea what they do with them, but there must be a market for them somewhere.

Yes I believe my local recycling park (Ballyogan in south Dublin) takes them aswell.
