Building 1st HTPC/Media Centre

    Hi Everyboby.
    I want to build a HTPC/Media centre PC and have been researching this forum for the past few days and found it a great help.
    My current setup is
    Jvc 32inch 100hz TV
    Yamaha Rx-v357 av receiver with 5.1 speakers.
    Sky Box.
    This is what I am going to buy.
    1.CASE Antec Fusion 430 Silver, 430w PSU, HTPC, Micro ATX.

    Do I need to get Sky+ to record programmes to the PC or what other alternatives is there.
    I know I will need a TV Card anyway but has anybody any recommendations for a good one.
    Any help is greatly appreciated as this has me stumped.
