    MANASYt hails from the twilight zone - post communist Bulgaria. Growing up with Swans, Voivod, Godflesh and singing in hardcore/metal outfits has a big influence on his current sound. First gets recognized in 2003 by respected German label Kommando 6 releasing the first EP. Numerous releases follow on Touchin'Bass Roulette Rekordz (Belgium), MNX Recordings and Bunker Records. Dark firing electro sounds that got picked up by Dave Clarke for the World Service 2 mix and with tunes resembling a future horror movie soundtrack, visits to a mental clinic and sounding like what hostile aliens would listen to while attacking Earth.     Warming up this week is an EC residents double header of Barry Donovan and Jay Galligan. A busy festive period saw the boys get drunk, eat pies, lose the world's biggest bag of records in a taxi [thankfully it was with Honest John's taxi firm], go to the dam for new year and now it's time for them to play their first of many sets at the club this year.
