Post Xmas Wii search

Ok so xmas is over, the crazy Wii demand is dying down for another 11 months, so just wondering where in Dublin (West hopefully) are the Wii's back in stock, I've checked most of the Argos stores and Smyths but no stock.
Also not interested in Bundles just a Wii with the sports games.

I've been looking for one since just after Christmas, and finally got one yesterday. Got it in the Argos in Swords, just keep checking they're stock & reserve function until they come back into stock!

I picked one up on Thursday in Argos Stephens Green. They also had a few in Blanch but they sold out fast.

As Ms Inquisitive says, you just have to keep checking the various branches, and reserve one as soon as they appear in stock They often seem to update stock in the evenings - found mine around 10pm or so.

mmm I wonder is this one that has been returned, I've checked all the stores and no stock bar the one I just booked, I'd say someones returned it, I'll check it out and see in the morning

I played it for the first time this weekend and now I've decided that I really cant wait a few months to save up I just want one
So if anyone knows where there are any in Dublin could you let me know.
I've tried Smyths in Swords and Jervis Street, Gamestop in Omni and Game in Northside. Thanks

as far as swords is concerned, gamestop there get them in every now and again so keep an eye there, also last time i was in hmv in ther pavillions they had loads!

gamestop in dognamede is where i got mine, the 2 gamestops are always a good option as alot of people dont know about them!

I rang HMV Pavillion about an hour ago and they don't have any unfortunately.

This is the number that i can find for Donaghmede SC and it just fails all the time (01)8471464. Gamestop seems good though €325 for the console and any game.

I got one on Saturday in Zhivago's music shop Galway. I was kind of surprised to get one I didn't think they stocked them, which is probably why they still had one left.

First console I've owned since the SNES, no wait the Amiga 32bit which barely counts.

If you want a Wii in Dublin, try phoning HMV's on Thursday mornings (10-11am) and you'll be able to tell if they got any delivered that day... That's their delivery time.

Not sure how accurate it is, but that's how I got mine.

I did see some Wii's in Tesco's and Argos's just before xmas... I recommend actually phoning up instead of checking an online checker. Both places can check their stock over the phone.

So I managed to get my Wii, (pre owned from Game Dundrum however it was the last one).
But since it was pre owned Wii sports didn't come with it. Does anyone know where I could get it?

got one a couple of hours ago in Virgin megastore in Cork.. asked around a few more shops in Cork but there were none in stock.

Well Its not gonna be easy get one of these. Gamestop Finglas say posibly next week, and Grafton St. Week after. None in argos any where. Virgin Blanch tried. Game all branches. (Greater Dublin). Anyone got any where I might be missing

got a text from my cousin 10 mins after posting re viking, xtravision clonmel have 2 (3 before i arrived) as of 15 mins ago. now if only i could induce a fit so i could go home from work early to play it.

That viking deal was so sh1t I fired off an angry email to their customer services accusing them of extortionism and asking ho the price tied in with their promise to offer "great value".

Actually had a call back from a rep monkey who tried to justify the price by saying they'd paid over the odds for their stocks in order to guarantee a supply when no one else had them :mad:

She must think I was born yesterday, this is blatant profiteering.

By the way I cant open mine until 5 Feb Cause my son hid it for my Birthday..... Cute :-)
