I seem to have lost the letter we got regarding re-registering and I can't remember what I brought with me last year. Do we need that letter for re-registering or just our student cards?

Distinctive black door is a distinctive line from the now-replaced video tour of TCD (narrated by Brendan Kennelly) shown to incoming JFs. I can remember most of it off by heart as when I was Edukayshun Ofacerr, I went to every single orientation. I suspect Myth's memory of it is for similar reasons.

West Theatre (and East Theatre) are the offices that are part of the same building as the Exam Hall/Public Theatre, on the west and east sides respectively. West is entered from beside House 1 and it's the Senior Lecturer's Office, Exams Office, etc, and East is entered near the 1937 and contains Int'l Students, Communications, etc.

Hey, sorry for stupid question but I forgot to register; does anyone know where I should go to get this sorted?

(yea, pretty stupid but I thought it went on for the whole week; I'm pretty confident that they won't stick me with fees though, right?)

go to student records asap. they can charge you a late fee, but go in and be really really apologetic etc.

(think its student records anyhow)

I know a couple people who registered late last year and weren't charged any fees. They're confident enough about it that they've been away all week and are gonna register late again...

Went in at 10 on the dot and there were 20+ people in the same boat, already queuing; no hassle, no fee.

Wouldn't recc'd it but just thought I'd shout it out here in case you're in that position at some point.

Went in at 3 and there was about 15 people in the queue, must've been a nightmare for the poor women working in there..

No fee:D, but left feeling guilty

Think I registered about 5 days late last year.

Its just not as easy when you spend most of your day in a computer lab in the hamilton to get up that far :P
