The time has come for my Local Area Development Plans to get updated by the council. I work with the LGBT commnity a lot and we will be making a submission to the County Council. Is there any planners, architects or others out there that can give me any help?

    thanks

    John

John, not the best idea to have your email address posted up on a public forum. If anyone needs to contact you they can PM you for that email address.

try local directory or yellow pages, also don't really see how who it is for will make a difference, LGBT or otherwise

John, assuming you are coming from your LGBT standpoint, i think whatever issues you or your community have regarding a new development plan, it would be better coming straight from yourselves.... by all means contact your LA and arrange a meeting with a 'forward planner' and see what they can advise....
but i cannot see what advice an architect / engineer could give outside of technical / spacial / analytical information.....
are you approaching your submission from a social inclusion issue or have you land you want zoned etc?

As sydthebeat has said any submission from you or your group will be reflective of your own community's needs and I dont see how this forum can help at all or indeed how any architect/engineer can help unless it has to do with a specific site/building which is a local point issue and not a general discussion point.

Im not being flippant here but the yellow pages may be your best bet. This thread is not something that we would normally allow but i will leave it open for a wee while for any other comments and then it will be locked.

As there are no other comments I will lock this as I dont see the forum as being the place for this query.
