Hi all, converting to Xbox from years of Playstation.

Can anyone provide details on which console type is the best or best value? Im not a hardcore gamer but will be playing a fair bit.

What are the differences to a layman between the premium, pro and elite?

Where is the best place to buy price wise?

Any other advice is much appreciated.

    Thanks in Advance.

the premium is the old name for the pro
    we now have the
    arcade
    Pro
    Elite
and the rumored Ultimate (august 2008)

OK so is the pro any good? Or is the elite worth the extra beans?

I am thinking of getting a pro, but am not sure. Hence the questions.

if you get a pro with a HDMI output and are not into downloading movies or old games then the pro is probably the best one for you.

I have the elite but that's cos I wanted the bigger hard-drive

In fairness theres not a whole lot of difference between the two if you can get hold of a Pro with HDMI socket. Only differences then are Elite comes with HDMI cable supplied and bigger HD. And colour of course. I prefer the white to be honest.:)

If you have a HD TV you can connect the two via HDMI to avail of the high definiteion pictures.
