    Hi all

I have some really old cassette tapes of music I made that I would
    like to transfer to mp3.

What hard / soft ware can you recommend to do it?

    Thanks,

    Barney

I use an mp3 player that is capable of taking line-in and recording it. Then I download to PC. It still needs some editing after this though. There re plenty of other ways, but this way is quite direct: the mp3 player does the on-the-fly encoding, so you have no intermediate format.
