ps3 tv problem

    I was wondering if anyone could help me. I bought a 40 inch LCD TV of aldi a couple of months ago. My problem is that during game play the screen goes blank for a second or two and comes back on. It seams that the TV is sensing a different resolution and auto adjusts to it. My question is has anyone experienced this and any possible solutions. Is it the TV or the playstation?

    get the same thing on my 32 inch tevion from lidl.
    only noticed it playing LBP... didn't see it with other games.

    It sounds like it maybe the TV auto adjusting. Is the game actually playing as in you on a level. And when it does it do you get the 720p HDMI thing in one of the corners? like when you first switch it on.

    I get the auto adjustment thing when the game/playstation first fires up. But never during a level
