Mario Galaxy Question..

Just wondering that if you go ahead to fight the last boss, will you still be able to go back and collect the rest of the stars afterwards? Or does it save over your game like Wind Waker? Im on almost 50 so far, incredible game.

You can go back to the game after beating the last boss and get the remaining stars.

It's actually impossible to get all 120 stars without first beating the last boss.
