Sky offer that never existed

As you have probabbly seen from my postings i am a new subscriber to sky tv and at a certain sky shop in co.kildare i was offered a package before christmas that being advised by the sales rep. i took up .firstly i wanted a new connection with a sky plus box in the main room (which i would have to pyy fo thats ok)and a standard box in the kids room(free),all i wanted was the €30.00 package no films and no sport,but was told that if i went for the sky world package i could get it half price for the first 4 months ie. €34 instead of €68(good deal) and was told that the seccond standard box in the kids room would only cost me €7.50 a month as i was a new customer. i signed the contract.When i rang sky today to check my payments Firstly they were charging me full price for sky world and the seccond connection €83.00,they knew nothing about the offer i was made,i fairness they changed my account to a 50% discount but only for 3 months not 4 as i was told,and when i asked about the €7.50 as a new customer for the seccond box she told me she never heard of any kind of offer like that:mad: I am disgusted with the sales pitch that was given to me at an official Sky Shop.9That is the reason that i have been looking for any info on F.T.A. Channels in previous Threads(To anyone going to sign up with sky make sure that you get your offer i writing from the sales rep.

I was made the exact same offer by the Sky shop (desk) in Omni over the Christmas - 4 months half price and 7.50pm for extra connections. I didn't go with it, but there must be something to it if more than one outlet was offering it.

Contact the shop where you bought it from and ask what promotion code was used and then quote this to sky.
