    Hi All,

Right I have NFS Pro Street on the PS3. I am having problems playing online. I can connect to EA Nation no problem and view leaderboards and all that jazz. But as soon as i try playing a ranked or unranked game online it doesnt work. It goes through the processes of connecting and says joining game session but then it gives an error saying it couldn't connect to the game.

Online works on other games and PSN Shop works. I took a look in the NFS manual and it listed some TCP and UDP ports to set up and i did this on my router like portforward.com says.

Any ideas? does anyone else have this problem? do i just need to keep trying?

    Thanks
    Nedd

I had similar problems with team fortress and I narrowed it down to the firewall on my netopia router.
When I reduce the firewall strenght on the router ,the game works.

EA Games seem to do this ,I never have problems with anything else.
I got help with a reply about ports ,but I couldn't find anything there.

went home yesterday and turned the firewall down. who would have thought the option "FIREWALL" was what i was looking for D'oh.

As soon as i turned it down i joined a game. great news. thanks for the help.

    This fargin game!!!

I can also see leaderboards but not play...

I've tried just a few things...

    1) enabled all ports listed
    2) disabled router firewall
    3) enable the PS3 IP on a DMZ
    4) plug the PS3 directly into the wall (fibre internet)

any time i try to find races, it comes back with none found (bar the once this didnt happen?!?!

Any time i try to set up a race (my mate has NFS:PS) it says the NFS servers cannot be found...

    GRRRR

    Any advise would be appreciated
