who are Digital Direct

After 10 months of Sky HD my box decides to cake it with the usual No Signal however it was crashing alot before hand I persumed it was the dish or the LNB but I got the lnb check swapped cables etc and my other box works 100% on the same pair of cables and the Sky+ on the box works a treat

So I tried 101 times to contact the guy that installed in it the first place to see can he change the box all I get are that nice lady in 02 telling me his phone can't take anymore messges, I managed to locate a landline for him and the wife/girl friend says he's not in, try his mobile. To be honest I get the feeling he is avoiding me as he knows ther is something up as I manged to speak to him for 10 seconds one day as I think I caught him by surprise ringing from a differant mobile

After speaking to SKy they are telling me SKY can't do anything as it was not a member of sky that intsalled the system but they understand I bought it from an Aerial/dish installer that can supply sky. anyhow I cant see the differance but SKY won't replace or sort the box but said get in touch with DIGIAL DIRECT Ltd so I never heard of these guys and I have done a search with the CRO and no joy

Any help suggestions would be welcome

Digital Direct are one of the biggest agents in Ireland. They are made up of over 300 smaller agents, installers, sales teams, etc around Ireland. I happen to be a part of them. If you could tell me the county your in I can get you the contact details for that area manager.

Hi I am having the exact same problem as mmurphy and have just been told to contact Digital Direct. I rang the number they gave me and it is not working. BigPaddy2004 could you also PM me with the contact details for County Cork.

you could try fixing it yourself. Satcure do a kit to upgrade the power supply.

Or you could order the exchange power Supply. Some screwdriver knowledge required.
They also have agents who will do the repair for you. The only one I know in Ireland is Kesh Electrics in Co. Fermanagh. Any others? Is Martin Greene still in business?

I meant changing the power supply board (one quick connect ribbon cable and 5 screws)

(after you have opened the case of course)

I wouldn't attempt soldering new capacitors !!

Hi Big paddy,

I too am like Molly, problem with my sky + box and C4, E4 rang a cork number which I contacted in May to install the units but the number wont ring. Its an 029 number, Mitchelstown. Even rang and left messages with the girl I dealt with in the office and the guy that installed the units. Could you please pm me also. I am based in Nenagh

I also need to make contact with the installer of Sky Digital who installed a sky + box in my home in the kerry area. Nothing sinister but the remote has stopped working and we have mislaid his mobile no. We want to check out things with him and have a contact no. for him. I would appreciate very much some help with this.
