    Hello there,

Well I got a HD projector (HD720X Optoma) for Christmas and its great for playing ps3 on aswell as the blu rays on.

Thinking I will most likely save it for playing games or for watching movies or matches with it but I deffo need a good sound set up.

Its not going to be a every day thing so a modest enough budget.

Wireless if at all possible because I live in an Apartment and trailing wires are one of my pet hates.

So all the advice you can give would be greatly appreciated.

    thanks

    Emmo

The Panasonic sc ht545 w . pretty good. Stay away from the Philips one. my Mate had it, it was binned .As with all wireless the sound is not as perfect as with the wired ones. Good enough for your apartment and smaller rooms . hope that helps .[

I think the new model is called SC-PT550 and has optical input needed for surround sound with PS3.
Wirelss isn't as good as you think. Its still wired to the mains, so will need to be placed near a plug. Not nearly as practical as the marketing makes it sound.

Ye, would agree . The one I got is about a year old .It would be a bit cheaper than the new one .I use it for my dining room where I AM NOT SO REALLY FUSSED .Push the boat out and get a technics wired one if you think about it you could hide a lot of the wires .ie. behind skirting, on it, around doors. there are ways .

a decent stereo setup is better than a poor wireless "surround" one. In fact all wireless systems are pretty crap so not really for serious consideration at all.
