    Nice laptop for the price, good specs, only caveat would be the crowd he's ordering it from really.

    He wants to use it for Storing music/dvds, some gaming and the internet... so I think it would be suitable, What is the story with laptopsdirect?

    Have people had trouble with them?

    I've purchased off laptops direct numerous times with no problems. He will need to ring them from his home phone to verify his address once he has placed his order.

    He may be better off waiting a few days as this time last year they had a sale , if they do teh same this year he may save a few quid extra.
