Question about firewall on Router.

    Hello ,I'm looking to see if anyone knows what the story is with my ps3 and my router.

    Bascially ,three times I've had trouble connecting team fortress online. And for some strange reason when I alter the firewall settings on my netopia router. The game works

    Is this coincidence ?
    I'm changing the firewall from medium to low.

    it could be the right ports have to be open for psn to work properly, with the firewall on medium do a connection test on the ps3 and see what nat it says, i just opened ports on mine and it worked grand

    I just tried a connection test ,while changing from LOW/MEDIUM Firewall.

    LOW = NAT2
    MEDIUM = NAT3

    I don't understand what you mean about ports ? ,do I designate the ps3 as not having a firewall or something ?
