    I actually had this problem before with google but I can't for the life of me remember what exactly it was that was causing it. In my case it definitely wasn't a virus or spyware.

    If I do remember though, i'll tell you!

    Try Safari and see if you get the same error.

    It may be a plugin you have installed on Firefox that's causing Google to think you're doing something weird.

    I read somewhere recently that some sites were not serving to Firefox when Ad-Block is detected, not sure if that's what's happening to you but my first action would be to try Safari then Firefox again with all plugins disabled.

    Have you got something against Safari - just curious.

    There are no viruses in the wild that can infect a Mac yet.

    it sometimes happens when you search for a particular thing.

    try searching for a different thing and see if you get the same result.
