Got this for Christmas, love it but occasionally when I put the phone up to my I hear a high pitched noise. It's a little annoying.

Anyone else had this? I hope it's not Radiation. :p

You shouldn't hear a high pitched noise randomly from your phone. Does it happen frequently? Try bringing it back to where it was purchased from or if not bring it to the relevent network shop. If they can reproduce the issue they'll no doubt swap it out for you.

Yeah, the thing is, it's only noticable when you place the phone up to your ear quite closely. So they may just say it doesn't effect the usage of the phone.

Been to the phone shop, they're giving me a replacement on Monday. I will be using this one till then.

Shouldn't be a problem. Happy days.

Hope the next one is alright, if it has the same thing I'll know it's normal.

Did a search and found this thread.

I have been getting the 6300 'noise' too - an Internet search suggested I turn down the speaker volume and that seems to have fixed it, but if it happens again I shall be bringing it back.
