I am assuming these would only work on a US PS3?

What the chances of being stopped by customs?

Blu ray is not 100% region free. Some titles are but you need to check before buying.

Play.com are doing a BOGO for PAL Blu-Rays at the moment.
Axelmusic.com and Movietyme.com are good priced US, Canadian sites with region free Blu-Rays.
The current list of Region Free Blu-Rays can be found here.

Cheers for the links, so would this be region free even though it doesnt mention anything about region on the site??

At €44 its a good bit cheaper than play.com's €62!

Does the version over here have more content than the US version? 5 discs here opposed to 4 discs over there. 1080p wont be any better than 1080i unless you have a huge tv.

Do you mean 50" or above??

Does the 5 disc one have a behind the scenes disc?

So is there actually a huge difference between the blu-ray version and the dvd version?

Theres no difference in some of the blu-ray's compared to dvd's.

There are reviews of the blu-ray versions of movies http://bluray.highdefdigest.com/
