    Hi,
Just wondering if anyone knows if you can go into Science International from Common Entry Science if you were to pick English as the language you wanted to study? Im in Common Entry and hoping to study Chemical and Pharm in second year but i didnt realise there was a course with the option to study abroad for a year, i know slap my wrists for not researching it properly and only properly researching what science international even was once semester one was over!

If anyone knows anything about it your input would be much appreciated!

    Thanks

Am 4th year BT but started in CES and IIRC SCI only offers French/German for study abroad, and the "international" part of english is to choose biology, do biotech and go to America for INTRA.

    I think - I could be wrong.

You should talk to the course head and see. There shouldn't be a problem (depending on numbers etc) to change.

Hey i am a Third Year Chemical and Pharmaceutical student. Not sure about the international course but i know of two people in my course doing their intra in different countries...... One is Malta and the other is Singapore...... Id stick with your plans for AC because that course is very very industry aimed, and you can end up going all around the world with it ..... ( according to Peter Kenny whom if you haven't met is a complete legend! )

I just posted to confirm Peter Kenny is indeed a legend.

I know lads who did Common Entry and decided to do physics. Because physics has a seperate first year to common entry they got a tutor in second year to catch them up on stuff they missed, which was a lot. I don't know if they'd do something similar for languages if you missed out on that.

And I know a few pepople doing science international. Some went to germany and france for third year and have a few seperate modules involving languages and such. Then theres some who did it without a language who are in a lot of my classes, no special modules, just the option to go to America and such is given priority to them when INTRA rolls around.

Yea thats the one I was talking about its Science International but with English rather than a foreign language and you have the opportunity to go to Australia or the US etc in 3rd year. But the language module is only in first year from what Iv been told.

I shall checkirout about the tutor thing though.
