    Quick question guys,

Does anybody have any experience with taking a break from a ICAI training contract (or better still completing it abroad)

Basically (fingers crossed) i'll have my FAE over and done with in September but will still have a yr and a half left on my contract

Getting rite sick of Dublin and would love to feck of some where for a while
    Canada, Uk, Oz - something!

In a big 4 so know they have offices everywhere but just wondering is it possible to take a break (6 months or so) from the training contract - or as i said - complete it somewhere else

    thanks

At a PWC grad presentation they said that they were the only firm in Ireland that offered you the chance to work abroad during your training contract once you've passed you FAE's. None of the others seem to offer this according to my friends who accepted jobs.

Hey joe, let us know how you get on! best of luck. PWC maybe the only big four to offer work abroad but I know it is offered in some medium practices also.
