Serenity. Spinoff to Firefly, one of the funniest, most exciting and intriguing shows shown this side of Battlestar (the new one)

Scratch that - better than Battlestar.

Those 12 or 13 episodes of 'Firefly' kicked Battlestar's arse (especially when you look at Season 3 which was just painful to watch for the most part)

How in God's name did this series, AND FILM, fail? I mean, they're incredibly watchable. No nerdish tendencies or technobabble. Hookers, pirates, cowboys, soldiers, assassins, bounty hunters, warships and horses...what a mix!

And Malcolm Reynolds is my favourite captain ever. Han Solo can kiss my spaceballs.

I would't say it was a failure. The series sold brilliantly on dvd, due to its high fanbase, and the movie basically broke evening at the box office[take a million or two] and even counting the marketing costs, it most likely make a profit due to its high dvd sales.

One of my fave films... I'm tempted to pick up the Hi-Def box for my xbox just for the HD-DVD version of this film alone.
