PCWorld Netgear W/less Modem Router mis-ad

Just got back from PCWorld with a Netgear DG834PN ADSL MIMO wireless modem router WITH USB adapter for €79.99. Their instore sales-offer poster and sale pamphlet ("go wireless for less") has the wrong product photo on it. They all show the DG834PN which retails for €120 (in their sale).
As they have displayed the picture with a price below, they have to sell it for that advertised price ... empty the shelves before they do (the 'oh dear, we're out of stock' syndrome) - just check the advert and the price beforehand so's not to embarrass yourself.
This mistake is also on the instore posters of a Zytel (?) modem/modem-router.

Legally, is that the case? Invitation to treat etc.

No they don't. Invitation to treat and all that.

The picture means nothing. They always have diclaimers "for illustration only" or "non contractual image".

No disclaimers, no enticement, just a pic of the object they have for sale and a price. Wrong pic ... I tell shopgirl, she punches code, I pay. I have the object working now and cannot complain.

Yeah, but they don't have to sell it. If they sell it to you for the wrong price, your entitled to the difference to be refunded - but if they just don't sell it to you, there's nothing you can do. Though, in this case, it's best for them to just take the hit.

You'll notice, that the in shop poster for a compaq laptop at 519, shows a picture of a toshiba.
