Nokia 6300 battery issue

    Hi all,
    Just wondering if anyone got a Nokia 6300 recently as my gf her friend and my cousin has got them asnd they have to charge them every day.

    Is the phone just crap?

    The battery life on the handset isn't great. You'll get about 2 days if you don't use it much. You'll get a day with any amount of usage.

    That's how the phone is.

    Back to xtra vision then cause the website says it should last for 14 days in stand by.

    They usually have an asterick and a "best case scenario" clause.

    And standby basically means not using the phone at all. Sending even one text means it's not on standby etc.

    The 14 days standby is a best case scenario, with measurements based around you being in optimum location to the mast and not making receiving calls/texts, you'll never get the standby thats quoted unless you follow the above criteria. The 3 1/2 hour talk time should be a bit of a giveaway for alot of people.
