Im looking at picking up a camera bag that has sufficient space for both camera equipment and day to day backpack stuff...i.e small jacket, snacks. etc..

Im fond of the slingshot type bags and wondered are there any bags described as above that use this slingshot method in order to allow quick access to camera?

    Any help would be lovely.

    thanks

i looked at that one.....was hoping to find one with more "backpack space"....so that when Im out for a days shooting I could pack a lunch as well as maybe a book etc....

    anyone any other suggestions......

Was rethinking....it does'nt have to be a slingshot type bag....just something that has sufficient space in both compartments.

    thanks for your info....

The Slingshot 300 is quite large. You do have ample space for camera body, a few lenses, and then the upper compartment for other bits (such as a book and your small lunch). Might be worth having a look at one in a shop to see what you think.

Tamrac and Crumpler also do the half and half styles should the one from Lowepro not be your bag.
