hi, you can check the details of the courses in the Italian Institute or in Sandyford Languages Institute, I think they still offer evening courses.

Was wondering about this myself, I've been looking around and the course ran by Languagewise, the corner of Baggot St Lwr and Fitzwilliam St, suits me best with regards time and location. It's more expensive than the other ones I've seen. Anybody have any experience with this crowd?

Would I be better off just getting a grammar book and cd, get the basics down then go to the Italian talking hours on Mondays in the Ilac Library, I'm good at languages in general so might be wasting my doing a 12 week course on the basics. Thoughts?

    Hi fobster,
I am moving to Italy in September.
I am out of practise as I haven't been speaking Italian properly in years! I am doing a language course when I arrive in Italy but would be interested in this Italian Talking Hours - do you have any more details?
    Grazie!

Sorry I don't, I just saw it mentioned in the Useful Resources sticky thread.

The talking hour is in the Ilac Library and you just need to turn up, sit with an Italian or a group of italians/Irish and just start chit chatting in Italian. Would be more for intermediates and advanced
