I can't beleive that you've bought all that gear and you need to know if it's okay! It will certainly record for you. No doubt. I'd personally spend the cash differently but that'll do the job.

I'd swap the sm57 for some kind of condenser or ribbon mic.
Rode/Studio Electronics and KEL Audio all do good stuff for cheap.

I wouldn't be too sure about that Line 6 thing. It's not the same as a pod...
Have a look at one of these.

You could also look at the Berhinger headphone amp. Probably the best thing they make...
As for the Beyer mic, I haven't seen too many reviews for it, but these are worth looking at.

The monitors don't look great really, granted they are cheap, but they look like a few others in that range that sound a loose to me. You really should listen to them first. I'd suggest these...

i was gonna use the sm57 for recording a large marshall amp - would a condenser or ribbon mic really be better for recording an amp?

also i didnt see that mackie onyx - reviews of it look good - il be going for that instead so thanks :)

yea the monitors are what im having problems with. could any1 recommend a set from thomann for about 300?

I wouldn't bother with a ribbon or condensor. Maybe if you were dead keen on vocal overdubs but if you're just after a mic to record an electric guitar, the '57 would be fine.

    Sibelius 5
    Fruity Loops Studio 6
    Cubase SX3
    Reason 4
    Ableton Live
    Cakewalk Sonar
    Cool Edit Pro 2.0
    Logic Pro Music

That's many 1000s worth of software doing the same job, and questions asked suggest you have liitle experience of any of them. If you are "borrowing" software, please pick a package and pay for it. It might be 1s and 0s, but it is still a product. Spuds or audio software - stealing is bad m'kay?
