so if you buy a cheap ryanair flight to and from east midlands airport you can fly over, buy your goodies VAT free (ringing in advance to make sure they have it in stock and ready for you) and fly home for tea

just thought I would mention it in case of interest to anyone who doesnt want the "hassle" of purchasing from HK or USA

Handy, fly from UK to Ireland about twenty times a year and never knew that.
Stansted has two Dixons outlets, must check them out them out the next time I'm flying.

I found Dixons in Stansted to concentrate a lot on Nikon equipment and Canon stuff is at a premium. Must check them out again this weekend or next week.
