Wii light gun

So have the Wii set up after xmas. Having great fun with the sports pack but got a present of Resident Evil for it. Haven't played it yet, just wondering is it worth getting the Wii Light gun for playing it?

I think it makes the game a bit more fun to play but the game is still alright without it.

Its not a light gun, its just a plastic casing to make the remote and nunchuk like a gun


Pros:
Looks savage
Adds to the realism of the game

Cons:
Kills yer arms the way you have to hold it
Prone to the reticule being misaligned* [this cud just be mine tho]
Hard to do dodge actions/combos [shake the remote, press A, press A+B]

Havent played the Link game ye get with it but its meant to be alright

I jus hope the release of the Zapper is paving the way for more on-rails Shooters [the best imo]

I have RE:UC and the zapper. I find it to be more fun and easier to aim with the zapper. Link's crossbow training is good craic too, fairly high quality for a bundled training game.

I want to get Ghost Squad next

Mcquickerson: you can calibrate the zapper in RE:UC, which should take care of any misalignment. Moving yourself in relation to the sensor bar may well do the same thing though!

depends which resi game you have. resi evil 4 doesn't work with the zapper apparently whereas resi uc does. resi 4 is by far the better game though.

What other games can you get to play with the light gun? There doesn't seem to be a great selection.
